JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to join our flourishing company and growing engineering team. Required responsibilities include designing low and medium voltage power systems, lighting systems and associated controls, fire alarm and mass notification systems; preparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systems; developing probable construction costs; providing construction administration including job site visits; mentoring less experienced staff. Some travel will be required. Ideal Candidate Experiences include any/all of the following: Preparing construction document drawings using Revit Performing electrical system fault current, selective coordination, and arc flash analysis (EasyPower preferred) Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred) Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specifications Providing construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systems Working closely with clients, partners and internal staff to achieve on-time and quality deliverables. Juggling multiple, simultaneous projects from conceptual design, construction documents, construction administration through final punch list. Apply, teach, and mentor others in subject matter expertise, including knowledge of building codes, regulations, requirements, construction methods, and procedures for project work. Candidate Must Haves: Bachelor\'s degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited four-year college or university At least 6 years (8 preferred) of experience designing power distribution, lighting and fire alarm systems in technically complex buildings. PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states The ideal candidate will have the desire to: Invest in and grow the capability of others. Understand the how and why with a thirst for curiosity. Take on the lead electrical role on multiple, simultaneous projects. Continue growing within their respective career.
