13708BRDepartment Name:HSP EIMS Location:Meriter Hospital Job Description: The Imaging Managment Assistant is r esponsible for image management duties (release of images/reports, importing images, PACs QA and clean-up, etc.), patient customer service (in-person and via phone), and supporting the Medical Imaging department initiatives of safety and regulatory compliance.

    Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience with medical information systems and processes. (2 years)

  • Knowledge of anatomy to identify images and procedures

  • Understanding of medical terminology

  • Effective interpersonal skills to ensure a high degree of internal and external customer satisfaction

    Preferred:

  • Epic system knowledge to include Radiant (Medical Imaging ordering platform)

  • Experience in a Medical Imaging department utilizing electronic imaging systems

  • Previous customer service experience
