JOB REQUIREMENTS: NP/PA- Radiation Oncology - 29035 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule: 100% FTE, days. Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. You will work at the University Hospital and Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: * Work with patients who receiving radiation therapy for a variety of oncologic conditions. * Conduct comprehensive health history/physical assessment, engage in patient/family teaching regarding treatment and manage radiation therapy side effects and survivorship issues. * Manage radiation therapy treatments plans in collaboration with the treating radiation oncologist. If Physician Assistant: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree from accredited PA Program. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure If Nurse Practitioner*: * Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND * Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult, Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, Adult Acute Care, or Family.
