The Commercial Internship is a six months experience. You will be part of the GE Vernova Onshore Wind business, learning the most important tasks related to commercial operations, pricing, marketing, product sales and other sales support tasks. Interns are expected to be active outside of their main roles to be able to learn from other functions and decide the most convenient path for your future career. In this role you are expected to leverage your problem-solving and people skills to bring solutions both internally and externally.

Essential Responsibilities

The assignments will vary depending on business requirements and the existing on-going projects. However, the Intern can expect the following responsibilities and experience during program:

  • Understand wind onshore products and support building the commercial brochures.

  • Work closely with the commercial team to support development of the overall business growth strategy, including market analysis and market opportunities identification and execution of the sales growth plan.

  • Support Sales Managers with pre-qualification documents to understand the main KPIs of the energy industry.

  • Partner with the Proposal team in the development and compilation of proposals to meet customers’ and sales team requirements.

  • Manage and negotiate NDAs and create a repository.

  • Analyze the pipeline of projects in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, UK, Ireland and Latam.

  • Support Sales Managers in the negotiation with customers; ensure deals deliver shareholder value to contribute positively to sales, orders, and profitability.

  • Participate in or deliver customer presentations.

  • Support in the organization of customer workshops.

Required Qualifications

  • Being able to sign a University Agreement for the internship

  • Availability to make a 6 month internship

  • Student of Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant science degree, preferably in Mechanical, Power Systems, Industrial or Electrical Engineering. Business majors with demonstrated technical aptitude and Energy Industry experience considered.

  • Academic excellence; minimum 3.0 cumulative overall GPA or better (out of 4.0) or equivalent

  • Fluency in English; both written and spoken

  • Demonstrates a strong interest in the Energy Industry

  • Legal authorization to work in Spain. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
