We are seeking a Program Manager

As the person responsible for technical operations, this professional will lead the implementation and management of IT systems. Some of their key functions will include:

  • Global Management of Technical Operations: The Programme Director oversees a diverse team of IT professionals. Their goal is to align operations with business objectives and communicate progress to the CIO and other directors.

  • User Security and Satisfaction: They implement effective security measures to minimize risks and constantly seek to improve relevant applications to increase end-user satisfaction.

  • Coordination and Updates: They work closely with department heads, system users, and other stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of IT operations. They are also responsible for updates, migrations, and replacements of hardware and software.

  • Strategic Planning: The Program Manager must develop a clear and measurable strategic plan for the IT department, including disaster recovery policies and appropriate contingency plans.

Regarding hard skills, the Program Manager is expected to have knowledge in:

  • Project Management: Experience in managing IT projects, including the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex projects.

  • Technical Knowledge: Keeping up with the latest trends in information technology, such as cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data analytics, especially in Microsoft technology.

  • IT Infrastructure: Understanding IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, hybrid cloud systems, workstations, mobility, and operating systems.

  • Risk Management and Compliance: Evaluating and mitigating risks, as well as complying with security regulations and standards.

  • Budgeting and Finance: Financial skills to manage the IT department's budget and make data-driven decisions.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding the energy sector, especially renewable energies.

  • Process Improvement: Analyzing and improving processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding specific technologies and methodologies in the renewable sector, including Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies, and knowledge of the Microsoft solutions ecosystem.

Regarding soft skills, the following are highlighted:

  • Leadership: Ability to inspire and guide teams towards strategic objectives.

  • Communication: Excellent ability to communicate with different stakeholders, from technicians to executive directors.

  • Problem-Solving: Ability to tackle complex challenges and find creative solutions.

  • Negotiation: Ability to negotiate agreements with suppliers, partners, and other departments.

  • Change Management: Adaptability and ability to lead through organizational and technological changes.

  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust to changing circumstances and project demands.

  • Collaboration: Ability to work harmoniously with various teams and departments, including project managers.
