Medtronic Senior Project Manager HealthCast Connectivity Solutions in Madrid, Spain

The Senior Project Manager Connectivity Solutions oversees leading HealthCast customer projects within specific markets. They will report to the HealthCast Western Europe Leader and will be responsible for the project's success from the customer's perspective. We are looking for two Project Managers – one will be covering UK&I, Benelux and Nordics, the other one France and Iberia.

A Day in the Life

• Lead and manage projects to achieve successful customer outcomes

• Develop and manage project plans and reports

• Track project progress and address risks and issues

• Manage communication and expectations of all stakeholders (client, internal teams, leadership)

• Facilitate meetings and workshops when necessary

• Provide technical guidance and recommendations

• Maintain project documentation for future reference and support

• Create reports to track project progress and performance

• Consistently perform risk management on all aspects of the project to minimize issues

• Keep current on advances and best practices in project management methodologies and contributes improvements to the maturity of project management practices

Must Haves

• University Degree

• Several years of experience in direct Healthcare IT project management and implementation

• PMP certification or similar project management experience

• Handle multiple projects while keeping big-picture goals in mind

• Ability to work independently, under minimum supervision, strong details – oriented

• Excellent communicational skills, positive attitude

• Fluent English, both verbally and written

• For Candidates based in France, Fluency in English and French required, Spanish will be a plus

• For Candidates based in Spain, Fluency in English and Spanish required, French will be a plus

Nice to Haves

• Proactive in HealthCast solutions market development. Take charge and own project success

• Understand healthcare systems and technology (either from working in hospitals or selling healthcare IT solutions)

• Manage projects like a pro: Has a PMP certification (a plus) or similar project management experience

• Communicate clearly: Talk effectively with clients and all levels of leadership

• Juggle well: Handle multiple projects while keeping big-picture goals in mind

• Stay organized: Pay attention to details and manages many tasks at once

• Bring teams together: Guide different groups to work towards a common goal

• Know when to ask for help: Escalate issues when needed

• Offer smart ideas: Provide strategic advice that benefits everyone involved in the project
