Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs and automated tests for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Career Level - IC3

Responsibilities

• Scrubs any issue in their product area, consistently figuring out steps to reproduce in a test account based on steps to reproduce in a customer account.

• Support existing Test Automation Suite by conducting timely analysis and application of fixes.

• Maintain and expand Test Automation Code Coverage

• Design and develop automated tests from Functional and Technical designs

• Review and understand Business Requirement, Functional, and Technical Design documents and come up with a Test Plan

• Conduct new feature testing, regression testing and bug fix testing

• Participate in defect and customer issue resolution process

• Perform peer automated test code reviews and optimize test code execution

• Perform project tasks and solve problems independently

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science or any IT related course

• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• 3-5 years experience with Software Quality Assurance and testing methodologies. Experience in Automated Testing is required

• Solid practical knowledge of programming/scripting

• Experience in JavaScript or related scripting languages

• Knowledge of JAVA/.NET, HTML and SQL

• Experience in Cloud Computing technology

• Familiarity with three-tiered applications

• Ability to quickly master new technologies

• Must have good problem solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills working in a team environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated, capable of working independently when needed

• Organized and reliable, able to efficiently manage multiple tasks
