This is an exciting opportunity to join the Load Management team at UtiliQuest, LLC as a Load Management Center Assistant . Meet the team

The Load Management Center Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Load Management Center Manager and Supervisor in coordinating the work assignment of Damage Prevention Technicians. As a result, we hold ourselves to high standards and expectations in providing excellence in ticket management. It is key that you are a self-motivated professional with strong work ethic, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills, and are ready to add value to our team on day one. The Load Management Center Assistant reports directly to the Operations Manager and supports the entire team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

The day to day

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Reviews tickets to be worked by Damage Prevention Technician to ensure work is complete in a timely manner.

  • Dispatches emergency work to the appropriate Damage Prevention Technician.

  • Assists Management in proactively addressing workload priorities.

  • Responds to internal and external complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • Proactively reduce unnecessary dispatches by critically scrutinizing tickets using all available tools.

  • Assist in the coordination of Damage Prevention Technician daily activities.

  • Reads and interprets plats and design documents.

  • Applies critical thinking skills to understand problems, analyze facts and anticipate results to make decisions based on available information and meet deadlines.

  • Promotes and maintains a strong safety culture and ensures quality standards are being met.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What do you need?

Required skills for success:

  • High school diploma o r GED equivalency required.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • Upon employment, will be subject to random drug testing in compliance with federal, state and company guidelines.

  • Proficiency in QManager, Microsoft Office, Excel and Google Suite with the ability to learn new systems and software related to the role .

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to project professionalism in client and employee interactions.

  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

  • Collaborative approach and friendly attitude when supporting Teams.
