Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC machining centers, lathes, manual mills, and grinders to meet production requirements, ensuring accuracy and precision in all components.

• Inspect Machined Parts: Perform dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other standard shop tools to verify components meet blueprint specifications and tolerances.

• Maintain Equipment & Work Area: Regularly clean and maintain machinery, tooling, and the work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.

• Perform Secondary Operations: Carry out secondary tasks such as deburring and assembly as needed to complete production processes.

• Read and Interpret Blueprints: Utilize blueprints and G-code programming to accurately guide machine operations and ensure compliance with geometric and standard tolerances.

• Collaborate with Team Members: Assist fellow operators in maintaining production flow and quality standards, while adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
