The pay rate for this job is $30 - $40 / hour

Responsibilities:

• Hours:  Monday-Saturday, 40+ hours

• Scaffold builders may need to transport materials to the job site.

• Reading blueprints: Scaffold builders need to read blueprints to understand the project's requirements.

• Erecting scaffolding: Scaffold builders assemble scaffolding high above the ground, using materials like wood and cement.

• They may also create different types of platforms, such as suspended scaffolding, cantilever drops, and temporary roofs.

• Installing safety features: Scaffold builders install tubing, toe boards, guard rails, and safety netting to ensure the safety of other construction workers.

• Inspecting work: Scaffold builders need to inspect their work for safety issues.

Qualifications:

• Current/Active 5 years experience Form Work, No Form Work, Scaffold Builder

• OSHA-10 Certification or a willingness to obtain it

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior experience in the commercial field required

• Prior experience using hand tools required

• Position may require a drug screen
