BAE Systems F-35 Development Program Manager III in Manchester, New Hampshire

Job Description

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Manages, coordinates, plans, organizes, controls, integrates, and executes a projects or collection of projects. Ensures achievement of financial, schedule, technical, and new business performance objectives. Participates in the support of new business and in the development of financial plans for the company. Models and demonstrates strong leadership in ethics, safety and security. Direct people-management responsibility is typically required for (001727, 000417 & 00457).

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Track record of success in planning and executing large, complex programs

  • Experience working with multi-discipline cross functional project teams, utilizing strong communication and collaboration skills to successfully manage assigned program(s)

  • Ability to understand and communicate with senior management regarding program performance status (cost/schedule/resources/risk) as well as performance to annual financial objectives

  • Demonstrated expertise in risk & opportunity management industry best practices

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent certification

  • Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) techniques

  • Understanding of the DoD acquisition environment and processes

  • Secret Clearance

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $147300 - $250400

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
