JOB OVERVIEW

Maintaining a high level of performance to ensure a positive guest experience is the essential responsibility of theActivitiesAttendant. As anActivitiesAttendant you are a member of the Resorts Fun Squad, who leads and organizes Family and Kid resortactivitiesin a fun, engaging and positive manner throughout the resort.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures
• Lead family & kidactivitiesthroughout the resort includingsetting up and breakdown of lawn games; participation in Kayak events; leading hikes; leading games; arts & crafts; BINGO; other resortactivities
• Responsible for gathering supplies, effective execution, clean-up andbreak downof allactivities.
• Providememorableguest interactions with consistent upbeat, fun and energetic personality at all times. When not on break, act as though you are on stage at all times.
• Ensuresstorageareas are kept organized.
• Inform supervisor when consumables and supplies are running low and need to be re-ordered.
• Ensuresactivitiesstart on-time.
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on business needs.
• mplementing activities that are scheduled on the monthly activity calendar;
• Coordinate appropriate entertainment;
• Engage and motivate guests to partake in daily social, physical and cognitive activities as planned;
• Maintain records of all activities and resident participation levels of each activity;
• Create activities specific to guest volume
• Appropriate arts, crafts and supplies for scheduled activities.
• Decorate rooms and other facility areas for holidays, birthday parties and theme parties;
• Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Must havepositivecustomer service skills.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills.
• Must be proactive in preparation and ensure events start on time.
• Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
• Must be flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands, weather,
