Emerson Lead Governance Risk and Compliance in Mandaluyong, Philippines

You will be responsible for mentoring the team of analysts that support risk management efforts.

In this capacity, you will be trained in the development, use, and upkeep of GRC and risk assessment tools. You will support other GRC functions, such as compliance, security awareness, and information security policy development. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To continually improve third-party risk assessment programs and questionnaires to aid in the identification and mitigation of third-party security risks.

  • To liaise with other groups within Emerson to develop, expand, and enhance third-party risk management.

  • To provide comprehensive and consistent reporting on third-party risk management activities.

  • To develop presentation materials for executives, summarizing the third-party risk management program activities.

  • To develop GRC analysts by providing timely feedback, on-the-job coaching, delegating challenging work, enhancing strengths, and sharing experiences and leading practices.

  • To lead process improvement activities and participate in information security assessment special projects and other assessment-related activities.

  • To manage the progress of assigned assessments, keep track and follow up on the outstanding items, and proactively communicate potential problems or delays.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related courses.

  • At least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and related functions such as Governance, Cybersecurity Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Software Development and/or Privacy.

  • Fluency in written (technical and persuasive writing) and verbal English.

  • Experience with GRC tools (OneTrust, ServiceNow) as well as in security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC2, FAIR, CCM) and analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Security-related certifications are a plus (CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, OSCP, etc.).
