PINE RIVER DAIRY INC Dairy Packaging Team Member in MANITOWOC, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: -Package butter -Manage customer orders and lot tracking information -Clean and organize work area, cooler, and warehouse -Perform equipment maintenance as needed Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators. Pack food products in paper bags or boxes and stack them in warehouses or coolers. Pack and store materials and products. Remove products, machine attachments, or waste material from machines. Wash work areas, machines, equipment, vehicles, or products. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances. Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Clean and lubricate equipment. Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete. Measure amounts of products, lengths of extruded articles, or weights of filled containers to ensure conformance to specifications. Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected, and notify operators of any malfunctions. Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping. Prepare raw materials for processing. Record information, such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product production. Separate products according to weight, grade, size, or composition of materials used to produce them. Start machines or equipment to begin production processes. Transfer finished products, raw materials, tools, or equipment between storage and work areas of plants and warehouses, by hand or using hand trucks or powered lift trucks. Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, or silverware. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Portion and wrap food, or place it directly on plates for service to patrons. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working in food production preferred. Experience in a dairy facility preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work on a team. Organized, detail oriented.
