Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

Responsible for performing basic welds on a daily basis, following blueprints to customer specifications, and working with production supervisors to hit goals. The role involves lifting up to 50lbs throughout the course of the day, laying beads on steel and metal with 3/8 inch being the most common, and collaborating with fellow fabricators to ensure process flow.

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic welds on a daily basis.

  • Follow blueprints to customer specifications.

  • Work with production supervisors to achieve goals.

  • Lift up to 50lbs throughout the day.

  • Lay beads on steel and metal, commonly 3/8 inch.

  • Collaborate with fellow fabricators to ensure smooth process flow.

Essential Skills

  • One year of welding experience.

  • One year of fabrication experience using equipment listed above.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with brake press and calipers.
