Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Aircraft Mechanic and dive into the intricate world of aircraft maintenance and repair. Your primary responsibilities will include researching technical data, disassembling, repairing, cleaning, adjusting, assembling, testing, and calibrating aircraft components using specialized tools and equipment in compliance with maintenance manuals, FAA regulations, and company policies. You will work on commercial aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, plumbing, and hydraulic units. This role requires keen attention to detail as you read and interpret manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the methods of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Additionally, you will handle the identification, inspection, and documentation of parts after removal, and perform various service duties to maintain the aircraft in prime condition. This position operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 6 AM to 2:30 PM with no overtime unless approved.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Marana, Arizona.

Work Environment

The role is based in an aircraft maintenance hangar, requiring physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You will be exposed to high intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, and materials listed on Safety Data Sheets. Protective equipment like goggles, safety glasses, ear protection, and safety harnesses are mandatory to ensure safety on-site.
