Job Title / Location: Avionics Technician in Marana, AZ

Job Description:

· Opportunity to work on Class IV 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station specializing in every aspect of aircraft maintenance for the service life of your fleet.

· Maintain narrow and wide body, small to large, regional to long-haul aircraft and one of the largest storage and reclamation operations in the world.

Responsibilities:

· Research technical data and performs inspection, testing, adjusting, and repairing of avionics equipment, such as radar, radio, navigation, auto pilot, and compass systems, installed in aircraft in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals, FAA regulations and company policies and procedures.

· Accomplished maintenance actions are concisely and accurately recorded on repair station and/or customer provided approved documents.

· Inspects components of avionics equipment for defects, such as loose connections and frayed wire, and for accuracy of assembly and installation.

· Tests avionics equipment under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness, using test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, digital meters and counters, and circuit analyzers.

· Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective components based on analysis of test results, following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents.

· Calibrates installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.

· Equipment Operated: aircraft ground servicing equipment including tugs, tractors, hi-lifts, trucks, servicing carts and test equipment, hand tools, rivet guns, drills.

· Work Location: aircraft maintenance hangar, flightline.

Pay:

· $30/hour - $45/hour

Work Schedule:

· Monday – Friday // Must be flexible working 1 st or 2 nd shifts.

Placement Options:

· Contract to Hire (4 months).
