Customer Service Representative

Location: Marietta, GA

ROLE

The Marietta Headquarters Office is in search of a dynamic and personable individual with exceptional customer service prowess to enrich our team. As a crucial member in this role, you will embody the first point of contact for both prospective and established clientele. Serving as a customer service representative, your responsibilities extend to bridging the gap between Applied Technical Services (ATS) and its affiliated companies, coordinating seamless solutions across all divisions.

Your domain will encompass managing inbound calls and emails, effectively deciphering customer requirements, and skillfully aligning them with the appropriate internal units within ATS. Your acumen will play a pivotal role in shaping client experiences, ensuring their needs are met through astute collaboration with our specialized teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming customer calls across multiple phone lines.

  • Utilize active listening skills to accurately assess customer needs.

  • Address customer inquiries from web and direct emails.

  • Gather comprehensive customer information through effective probing questions.\

  • Make informed decisions regarding appropriate actions based on customer requirements.

  • Perform data entry into Customer Relations Management systems (CRM).

  • Direct inquiries to relevant departments and subject matter experts.

  • Maintain and update CRM records diligently.

  • Facilitate customer onboarding processes.

Additional Responsibilities (as needed):

  • Manage the opening and closing of the front lobby entrance/reception area.

  • Extend a warm welcome to arriving guests and provide initial assistance.

  • Notify designated hosts about visitor arrivals promptly.

  • Uphold office security protocols, including visitor log maintenance, ID checks, badge issuance, and related tasks.

  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy, well-presented, and adequately stocked with essentials like pens, forms, and brochures.

  • Dispense accurate in-person, phone, and email information to visitors.

  • Handle incoming faxes efficiently.

  • Coordinate and schedule conference calls and meeting rooms upon request.

  • Adhere to emergency protocols when necessary.

  • Obtain required Certificates of Insurance as per procedure.

  • Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent

  • Proven customer service skills

  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
