Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineering Manager in Marietta, Georgia

Description: This Systems Engineering Manager position for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics - Engineering & Technology - Combat Core Systems - AMMM Processors & Displays Hardware Team is focused on mission processor design, flight deck display design, supplier management, requirements development, system integration test, and subcontract management activities across multiple C-5 and C-130 development and DMS resolution programs. Full product lifecycle management (product development, production and sustainment) is applicable.

The ideal candidate will lead a high performing team of engineers in accomplishment of defining high level requirements, requirements decomposition, flow down, authoring specifications and statements of work, design, and verification & validation of Combat Core Processor hardware. This includes display hardware, mission computer hardware, flight data recorder hardware and aircraft data transfer system hardware across multiple aircraft platforms. The candidate will also be responsible for Cost Account Oversite through based on Earn Value processes.

Candidate will be responsible for coordinating subordinate employee work assignments, performance assessments, salary, recruitment, selection and training, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

The selected candidate must be a US citizen and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (including a secret clearance or above with an investigation within the last 6 years).

Basic Qualifications:

·Technical / STEM related degree

·Experience as a lead or manager for a product or project or

program

·Experience working with design and/or development of mission systems, subsystems avionics, and/or core combat subsystems hardware

Desired Skills:

· Experience with Control Account Management

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel

spreadsheet scheduling and Database applications

· Prior leadership experience (L-code).

· Core Processing and/or Display knowledge and experience.

· Subcontract Management experience

· Experience in Certification Mil-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, D0178C, DO254

· Experience in identification of workforce gaps; i.e. skills, tools, and organizational structure. Ability to understand and deploy strategies around risk mitigation.

Must also demonstrate the following:

· Leadership and team-building skills.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills and analytical skills to include briefing peers, leadership, and

internal/external customers.

· Ability to lead and coach people with a focus on development & learning

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
