Robert Half is offering a short-term, part-time contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Yonkers, New York. This role is within the financial industry and focuses on maintaining and managing financial records for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilize QuickBooks Pro to manage and record financial transactions.

• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records.

• Perform bookkeeping duties, including recording transactions, making deposits, and preparing checks.

• Take charge of the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is updated and accurate.

• Monitor and manage customer accounts, addressing any discrepancies or issues.

• Handle customer inquiries regarding their financial records and transactions.

• Ensure the timely processing of customer credit applications.

• Maintain and update customer credit records as necessary.

• Take appropriate action on customer accounts based on their credit records.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping and understanding of its principles

• Capability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently

• Strong Data Entry skills with attention to detail

• Experience with Month End Close procedures and reporting

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks Pro for financial management and reporting

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is preferred.
