Job Summary:

The *Sales Pricing Specialist *is responsible for organizing processes and reporting to maintain accurate pricing. This position monitors the performance of pricing strategies and makes recommendations for adjustments or improvements based on the results. Performs various tasks related to sales and account manager support and pricing analysis, such as collecting and processing data from internal and external sources, conducting market research and surveys, and evaluating the impact of pricing decisions on profitability, sales, and customer satisfaction. The Sales Pricing Specialist is a key resource to provide customer service and pricing solutions to Natural Choice Foods customers through the sales and account management support. Advice and leadership are available from supervisor or their designee for complex issues or those requiring authorization.  

 

 

A Sample of the Role:

Monitors and researches various factors that affect pricing, such as customer segments, demand elasticity, product life cycle, differentiation, and market conditions. Proactively inputs lot pricing and completes price adjustments in a strategic manner to support sales operations.

Develops and maintains Sales SOP's, customer mapping tools, and customer CRM and sales portal data maintenance, support, and training. Provides training to internal teams and customers.

Reviews data and reports to identify inventory at risk of being donated.  Proactively reassesses aging lot pricing, reprice inventory, and works with the Sales team to recover value before donation.

Monitors and assesses offsite inventory and storage costs vs. value.

Analyzes data from multiple sources, develops and recommends pricing models, and collaborates with sales and marketing teams to develop sales strategies including layer, pallet, and take all pricing.

Develops and shares pricing information for the development of product offers and quotes. Compiles and shares internal data and recommends pricing strategies for future product and segments using informational resources regarding customer needs, historical data, market conditions, and internal margin/revenue targets.

Provides prompt and accurate responses to clients and colleagues. Monitors and manages incoming emails and prioritizes response to inquiries in a timely manner. Responds to queries, feedback, and complaints from customers or sales representatives regarding the prices
