DESCRIPTION

Responsible for warehouse functions to include stocking materials, general supervision, inventory control, and other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Extensive use of many SAP screens to control movement and accuracy of material throughout the facility.

  • Monitor Backlog System – ensuring the accuracy of the backlog tracking, correct errors.

  • Monitor Replenishment System- ensuring the accuracy of transactions in and out of warehouse.

  • Ensure timely delivery to manufacturing.

  • Assign run routes and picker roles to associates.

  • Interact with manufacturing to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

  • Assist management with implementation of new processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Responsible for ensuring adequate coverage (vacations, overtime etc.).

  • Responsible for new associate training, cross training, rotations, etc.

  • Responsible for assigning and tracking 5S activities as well as perform audits with management.

  • Complete Back to Basic board.

  • Put up raw material stock and scan to warehouse shelf locations.

  • Check manufacturing floor stock locations and pull replacement materials from warehouse. Stocks flex line material locations as required.

  • Manage floor stock and maintain correct quantities at line side storage.

  • Participate in physical inventory and cycle counts.

  • Good housekeeping - keep warehouse and stocking locations safe and orderly.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High school diploma required; Associates degree preferred.

  • Good organizational and record keeping skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Basic computer skills (SAP, Microsoft Office).

  • Must be able to move items up to 40 lbs.

  • Required to work overtime as scheduled.
