RELYANT Global LLC Contracts Manager in Maryville, United States

RELYANT Global LLC, is currently seek a Contracts Manager to join their Corporate Team in Maryville, TN. The Contracts Manager will prepare, examine, analyze, negotiate, and revise contracts that involve the purchase or sale of goods or services such as equipment, materials, supplies, or products. One to Three years of Federal Contracting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage contracts cradle to grave, representing the company domestically and internationally.

  • Prepare comprehensive summaries of solicitations, contracts, and contract modifications.

  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer various contract agreements.

  • Provide interpretation of contractual language and provisions.

  • Effectively communicate with customers and company personnel on all contractual matters.

  • Protect company's rights to future claims during negotiations and discussions.

  • Monitor contract progress, performance, and costs necessary to provide status reports and timely notices.

  • Compile Requests for Equitable Adjustment and certified claims under the Contract Disputes Act

  • Prepare contract closeouts for approval, verifying fulfillment of the contract obligations.

  • Accurately document discussions and contractual arrangements.

  • Oversee maintenance and monitoring of tracking systems for projects across multiple platforms.

  • Manage contracts across numerous time zones throughout the world.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Prefer a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any of the following disciplines: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, and organization management.

  • Four years of substantial experience and demonstrated relevant job performance in a contracting position in US Government contracting may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

  • Federal Government contracting experience.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the rules governing appropriated and non-appropriated fund acquisition, including laws, regulations, policies, including FAR, DFARS, DOS regulations, and precedent setting legal decisions.

  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to craft effective contractual documents and agreements.

  • Effectively communicate sensitive recommendations to higher management; and build consensus on recommended approaches to managing issues.

  • Ability to work independently and utilize analytical skills to identify problems and develop timely solutions.

  • Ability to critically evaluate complex, time sensitive scenarios and formulate contractual solutions that balance risk management with operational requirements.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of contract administration policies and practices.

  • Experience in the public construction industry.

  • Military Experience

  • J.D. Degree
