Summit Funding Group, Inc. is an established and growing equipment leasing company and a wholly owned subsidiary of First Financial Bank located in Mason, OH. Summit is hiring a full-time Tax Administrator to assist the Tax Department with the filing of complete and accurate Sales & Use Tax returns and Personal Property Tax returns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. * Sales and Use Tax * Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual returns * Apply for new jurisdictional license as needed * Resolve discrepancies * Provide sales tax exemption certificates as requested * Maintain complete and accurate record and respond to state and local authorities inquiries * Research and respond to any sales and use inquiries from other departments * Assist with sales tax audits * Provide sales tax exemption certificates as requested * Prepare multi-jurisdictions' personal property tax returns * Review state assessments, process bill payments, and invoice customers * Prepare monthly account reconciliations Qualification/Requirements: * Experience in preparation of sales and use tax returns or personal property tax returns * Excel proficient * Some accounting experience preferred * Organized and detail oriented * Must be able to work independently and handle multiple assignments * Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines * Able to work with minimum supervision * Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Business casual It is our policy to not discriminate against any individual in violation of federal, state, and local laws as it relates to age, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, pregnancy, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation, genetic information, veteran/military service, or any other characteristic protected by law.
