Robert Half Financial Analyst in Mayodan, North Carolina

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Manufacturing industry situated in Mayodan, North Carolina, United States. The role is for a Financial Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing financial information related to the organization's expenses and seeking ways to improve the accuracy of budgets and forecasts, as well as decrease the cost of assigned departments and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze expenses and cost transactions and ensure that they are accurately assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.

• Maintain standard cost system processes and methodologies.

• Regularly review, calculate, and update standard costs to ensure accuracy of inventory valuations.

• Balance warehouse system to the accounting system and monitor the integrity of inventory data.

• Prepare monthly financials with a detailed explanation of variances.

• Provide detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, including breakdowns of project costs, forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency.

• Prepare periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs.

• Prepare customer profitability review templates as requested.

• Possess general knowledge of budgeting and forecasting tools and processes.

• Support other departments as needed.

• Create or update SOP's on all standardized work.

• Assist in financial, inventory, JSOX audits, and other activities as assigned. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in a Financial Analyst role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Capital Expenditure (CapEx) processes and evaluations

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions and their application in manufacturing finance

• Ability to manage various accounting functions and ensure accuracy in reporting

• Familiarity with budget processes and ability to develop, monitor, and adjust budgets as needed

• Experience with expense reporting and ability to analyze and reduce unnecessary expenditures

• Strong foundation in financial principles and practices

• Proficient in financial reporting and ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders

• Experience conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

• Ability to deliver accurate monthly financial reports

• Knowledge of standard costing methods in the manufacturing industry
