Loyola Medicine is seeking a part-time Vascular Technologist to join our team at our Maywood Campus. In this role, you will perform noninvasive vascular ultrasound studies in a top-ranked, ICAVL-accredited lab, working alongside other technologists who are experts in this field. High-quality care is delivered in an inpatient and outpatient setting. What you’ll do:

  • Perform quality, non-invasive vascular ultrasound procedures to facilitate the diagnosing of various vascular diseases following departmental protocols and guidelines.

  • Provide patient care and maintain the patient's safety within established organization policies.

  • Communicate with other clinical departments to coordinate patient care activities

  • Instruct technical students and collaborate with residents

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as needed.

  • Participate in maintaining professional growth, self-development objectives & skill enhancement.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the organization by supporting & adapting to changes consistent with operating goals.

What you’ll need for this job:

  • Associate (Bachelor’s preferred) degree in an accredited vascular ultrasound program.

  • Minimum 1-2 years of previous job-related experience.

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) active status with the ARDMS.

  • Maintain essential CME credits set out by ARDMS

  • CPR/BLS - American Heart Association
