As a Leader at Steampunk you will provide a deep expertise in the implementation and deployment of solutions to enhance the enterprise information security program. You will work identify the organization's needs, define the business or technology architecture, plan how the project will be delivered, oversee the solution design and implementation, manage the progress of the team and activities, and confirm work products meet our company and the client's quality standards. Additionally, you are expected to mentor/coach staff, author operating procedures and presenting training.

Contributions

In this role we’re looking for solutions-focused candidates who thrive providing excellence to clients and have experience managing technical personnel to build solutions and systems to modernize the agency risk management program. The ideal candidate is a creative and hands-on leader, with technical expertise in large-scale information security program modernization, DevSecOps and digital transformation.  You will be a client-facing advisor, leader, coach, mentor, and an accountable program manager with a proven track record of leading hybrid teams ensuring quality service delivery in a client environment.  Key contributions of this role include:

• Serve as the delivery leader, accountable for completion of team delivery efforts including quality oversight, visibility into delivery targets, and client acceptance.

• Coordinate the deliverables, reports, metrics, and schedules to facilitate the smooth implementation of Continuous Authority to Operate (C-ATO) technology and process

• Deliver repeatable outcomes and quality @ speed.

• Build and maintain client relationships, fostering and promoting innovative thinking across the client environment

• Identify design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements

• Bridge the gap between teams ensuring development of integrated solutions

• Effective end-to-end solution design, to include integration with other technologies and solutions, driving high client satisfaction with the final solutions

• Handling challenging client situations and offering technical and business guidance & direction to client executives

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

• Leadership. If you don't know the difference between that and management, this just isn't going to work out.

• Bachelor’s Degree and 10 years of relevant leadership experience supporting government IT and cyber security programs

• Possesses one of the following professional security and management certifications: CISSP, CASP, CISM, CEH, SSCP, CAP, CISA, GISP, PMP certification

• Strong understanding of federal CISO responsibilities, and understanding of relevant project roles, including:

• Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

• Incident Responder / Network Security Analyst

• DevSecOps Enginner

• Compliance Analyst

• Security Architect

• Security Engineer

• Security Control Assessor

• IT Auditor

• Experience in Agile and DevSecOps

• Experience interfacing with federal Contracting officials
