As aDisruption Designer, you willbe responsible forguiding government clients through our Design Intelligence™framework;incorporating human-centeredand design thinkingmethods tofocus on the peopleimpactedby transformation and change engaging them to embrace and adapt to new ways of working while identifying and mitigating areas of resistance.
Responsibilities :
Participate in all aspects of project discovery to understand: client mission and goals; stakeholders, users and their ecosystems; current state journeys; user segments; program, project, and transformation objectives
Conduct workshops and interviews to frame pain points and opportunities; define problem statements and determine change readiness and areas of resistance
Synthesize research and data and craft compelling stories and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations that will shape transformation and change enablement
Develop and deploy change management plans that articulate actionable recommendations for organizational and workflow improvement, including:
Communications plans
Training plans and resources
Sustainability plans
Develop, deploy, and measure key performance indicators for transformation and adoption
Collaborate and communicate stakeholder and user needs on a cross-functional team within an Agile environment
Understand and embrace the specifications and constraints of a given technology, platform and/or operational environment and understand how change management should be integrated into technological considerations
Ensure all deliverables across a variety of projects are produced at the highest quality
Collaborate regularly with the technical development team in order to communicate client priorities and help shape the product; be able to translate technical jargon and instructions into language that client stakeholders or product end-users will be able to understand
Be able to do light design work, or collaborate with design specialists, in order to produce comprehensive training documents

Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Public Trust Security Clearance
Bachelors Degree required
3+ years equivalent experience in IT Project Management or related IT field
7+ years total work experience, 2+ years Change Management focused experience
Demonstrated experience in current state assessments, future state visioning, and communication planning
Demonstrated experience conducting user and stakeholder interviews and synthesizing data and insights into personas, action, and training plans
A natural curiosity for solving problems coupled with strong analytical skills
A collaborative nature with excellent written communication and presentation skills
Excellent client management skills and ability to speak comfortably and authoritatively in front of groups
Experience working in a project-based environment
Additional Qualifications
Certification in Change Management
PMP Certification preferred; Certified Scrum Master preferred.
Previous work experience in or with the federal government
Previous work experience as a consultant
Experience in Human-Centered Design / Customer Experience Design
Experience working on multi-disciplinary, cross-functional teams including Service Designers, UX and UI designers, technologists, data scientists, engineers, and solution architects
Experience working within an Agile delivery framework including writing user stories and story pointing
Experience with cloud and/or software as a service (SaaS) offerings and modernization efforts
Experience delivering solutions to production and/or migrating legacy applications to new modern platforms
