Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 for Wesbury located in Meadville, Pennsylvania. This is a upscale continuing care retirement community, and Sodexo currently manages the skilled unit and a small bistro on campus. This Food Service Manager will oversee the trayline operations serving approximately 170 residents and fill in for the General Manager in their absence. Typical shift will 7:30am to 4:00pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. Will manage a total hourly staff of approximately 30 employees.

Are you the experienced food manager we’re seeking?

We are looking for candidates who will:

• have oversight of trayline operations (dining room service, bistro and catering);

• interact with residents during meal rounds;

• assist with inputting diets into GeriMenu;

• handle cash during closing shift as needed;

• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;

• create a positive environment; and

• ensure Sodexo Standards are met.

The ideal candidate has:

• previous two or more years food service management experience ideally in a healthcare environment;

• knowledge of special diets;

• strong customer service skills;

• knowledge of safety and sanitation compliance;

• knowledge of GeriMenu;

• the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

• the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed;

• proficiency in computer skills and report management experience.
