Randstad is excited to be partnering with a growing financial institution in the Harrisburg, PA area. Our long-standing client is seeking to hire a Director of Operational Risk. This position will play a key role in implementing and leading the association's operational risk management program. In this role, you will lead/manage a team of risk analysts, providing effective challenge and controls testing, to ensure risks are being managed within approved risk tolerance. This position will work a hybrid schedule after training (2 or 3 days remote). In addition, this position would be eligible for a 15% to 20% annual bonus. Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and maintenance of the organization's Operational Risk Management Program including – risk, control and process taxonomies, risk and control matrices, development and execution of detailed test procedures, risk and control self-assessments, controls frameworks and testing, and issue management.

• Responsible for identifying operational process gaps and risk trends. Works with lines of business, technology, compliance, legal, and other partners to develop risk mitigation strategies and ensure proper risk oversight and infrastructure to measure, monitor, and control such risks.

• Manage independent control testing of ICFR and compliance with ICFR frameworks and policies. Escalate major risks and issues to management.

• Manage independent assessment of credit risk for the Association's loan portfolio. Identify and escalate credit rating changes, as appropriate. Presents findings and assessment results to management.

• Oversee and manage the Model Risk Management program including – compliance with model program guidelines, maintaining of model inventory, monitoring compliance with model governance activities, work with model owners to remediate/monitor exceptions, issues and findings as part of model governance procedures, and provide training related to model risk management on an annual basis.

• Supports ERM in running enterprise risk ID process

• Assist in producing Board and management risk reports as needed.
