The Team and Job Summary

The Regional Human Resources Business Partner will support the management and execution of the LatAm employee lifecycle processes and provide regional human resource consulting to leaders and stakeholders across LATAM on a broad range of human resource issues in support of developing and advancing organizational goals. This role will report into a Global/International HR Leader out of country, and be required to be in the Medellin office 3 days a week.

You will be the primary point of contact for HR initiatives and an expert in the full life cycle of HR services for our internal stakeholders focusing on LATAM support. You will also partner with People Services Leaders, Strategic Business Partners, and business leaders as a trusted advisor to work on talent management and retention, employee engagement, employee relations, career development, conflict resolution, and workforce planning. This is a highly visible role that will be impactful to our organization!

Job Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist management on all things people-related, including championing performance management, coaching, career paths, employee relations, compensation, organizational development and scaling, training, culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement planning.

  • Manages and administers the health and safety program, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and promoting employee wellbeing. Coordinates medical exams, ergonomic assessments, and wellness initiatives.

  • Provide HR support and act as a trusted advisor with employees and leadership and ensure alignment with global business direction and corporate human capital strategy.

  • Develop, implement, and provide ongoing support for HR policies.

  • Demonstrates and maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all matters related to the Organization and Employees.

  • Ensure all information is handled with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity.· Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • Flexibility to work on special ad-hoc projects.

  • Gathering and analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

  • Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions aligned with the organization’s broader strategy.

  • Collaborate with other HRBP team members and our Centers of Excellence to identify unique employee programs and create a positive experience for all.

  • Collaborates with Senior People Services Partners to lead and facilitate programs like new hire orientation, exit formalities, Employee Leaves of Absence, policies and procedures and all other employee-relations matters.

    Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, business administration, law, or related fields with experience in an HR role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to and interact with stakeholders of varying levels.

  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience in employee relations and knowledge of global employment practices is a big plus.

  • Ability to coordinate and collaborate with functional project teams with first-line and senior leadership across the organization.

  • Uses clear and adaptive communication to influence others.

  • Proactively shares information to improve collaboration and solve problems.

  • Sets clear performance expectations with project goals and provides regular and constructive feedback to project teams, when needed.

  • Adapt seamlessly to changes and progress within the HR organization to support growth.

  • Passionate about HR technology and data-driven HR.

  • Advanced training in presentation skills.

  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment while being respectful, and professional, and maintaining a genuine attitude towards all.

  • Ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines and delegate effectively.

  • Adapts to changing requirements of clients and project needs. Consistently drives to create buy-ins.

  • Ability to listen to stakeholders, synthesize information, research options and provide customized solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships and trust at all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced Knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary

  • Knowledge of Latin America and employment laws based on the region supported.

  • High level of proficiency in speaking and writing English

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant HR generalist experience

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Advance degree in Human Resources, Organizational Design or related· Proficiency in Spanish and English

  • 5 years of experience in a mid-level generalist capacity
