About our role

We now have a great opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team. Based at our head office in Mentone / Moorabbin, you will support all financial planning and analysis activities for our Commercial division. This includes the provision of timely and insightful information and analysis to support decision making and strategic priorities. Key to this role is the preparation of timely and accurate reporting including the co-ordination of financial inputs and insights to enable the review of the Total Commercial result.

What you will do

• Deliver accurate and timely reporting and analysis for the Commercial teams regarding financial performance of the division to support timely, fact-based decision making

• Provide best in class business partnering with key stakeholders across the organisation

• Implement efficient and effective financial planning, reporting and processes to facilitate good cost control and improved accountability for spend

• Support the consolidation of financial information and commentary for delivery to senior stakeholders

• Provide accounting and analytical support to the Commercial Division for day-to-day operational tasks and projects

• Support the annual budget process to ensure timely, accurate and consistent consolidated output

• Support the forecast cycle including tracking of key Commercial KPIs and ensuring accurate input into the monthly IBP cycle

• Provide information and liaise with the Commercial Marketing & Sales Teams and other areas of Finance as required.

About you

• You are an experienced Finance Analyst, proficient in general tasks associated with month/year end and have had exposure to Budgets and Forecasts

• You are a critical thinker who has experience in partnering with the Business to achieve common goals and problem solve

• You appreciate how finance contributes to the engine of the business and are ready to broaden your knowledge and build on your existing skills

• You enjoy the detail, are versatile and foster a curious mindset

• You like to own a task and can operate with a high level of autonomy

• Ideally you have had an exposure to commercial operations within a large-scale business

• Knowledge of financial systems (SAP/JDE/Blackline), proficiency in BI tools particularly relevant (Power BI)

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint

• Possess exceptional written and verbal English language skills.
