Robert Half Administrative Specialist in Memphis, Tennessee
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospitals and social assistance, based in Memphis, Tennessee. The role is for an Administrative Specialist who will be part of our Human Resources team and will play a critical role in the administrative functioning of various HR departments.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle administrative tasks for the HR team, including working with purchase orders and invoices
• Act as a point of contact and manage the front desk of the HR office in rotation
• Ensure smooth operation of HR departments by providing support to five different teams, with a special focus on the Talent Acquisition team
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, including catering and scheduling meeting rooms
• Manage office supplies by keeping track of inventory and placing orders as necessary
• Utilize Workday and other software for HR administrative tasks
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service
• Process and maintain accurate customer credit applications and records
• Schedule appointments and manage email correspondence effectively
• Proficiently use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks. Requirements • Exceptional skills in answering inbound calls, maintaining professionalism and patience throughout each interaction.
• Proven experience in providing high-quality customer service, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues promptly.
• Proficiency in data entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle email correspondence effectively, ensuring clear and concise communication.
• Experience in managing both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring a smooth flow of communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word, ensuring efficient data management and presentation.
• Excellent scheduling abilities, ensuring all appointments are accurately logged and timely reminders are sent.
• Familiarity with the Workday platform, enabling effective management of various administrative tasks.
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) administration, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
