Our client is a global fund administration firm that provides administrative, tax, and consultative services. They are based in San Francisco and they serve a variety of types of funds.

Responsibilities include:

• Review FATCA and CRS documents to determine the classification of funds and account holders for AEOI purposes, including FATCA/CRS registration and reporting.

• Validate account holder tax documentation, such as Forms W-8 and W-9, CRS self-certifications, cure documents, and AML/KYC documents.

• Scrub data and prepare reporting templates for FATCA and CRS reports, CRS Compliance Forms, and assist with filings.

• Assist with PPOC filings and compliance, and promptly respond to notices from tax authorities regarding AEOI matters.

• Stay updated on current FATCA and CRS laws, rules, and regulations.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risk related to regulatory services.

Key Requirements

• Ideal profile:

• 2+ years tax experience with exposure to FATCA & CRS

• Candidates can come out of a CPA firm, or another fund admin!

• Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
