Zebra is seeking a Senior ServiceNow System Analyst to fortify our ServiceNow develpment team. The Senior Advisor will manage highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems.

  • Oversees the development of software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise wide applications associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of data for internal department planning and activities.

  • Develops mission critical process flows and solutions for business problems.

  • Manages highly complex configuration, setup, and updating of application, including table definitions and access control.

  • Oversees validity of data entered into established tables, fields and system databases.

  • Manages extension designs and tailored solutions required for aligning packaged applications for business scenarios.

  • Builds and produces complex reports using query and flexible reporting tools to meet the requirements of business management and staff.

  • May manage set up and managing user access and training users on application.

  • Manages implementation of changes in applications development, maintenance and system standards. Provides timely resolution of problems or escalation on behalf of customer.

  • Oversees system upgrades including planning and scheduling, coordination and deploying.

  • Oversees availability and performance of systems and application environments through proactive as well as reactive analysis and maintenance.

  • Leads cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required. Advanced Degree preferred

  • 12+ years of experience

  • Candidates with 7+ years of experience will be considered if they have combined experience with ServiceNow administration, development, and/or Product Ownership along with relevant experience in IT operations and/or delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management

  • Demonstrated ability to manage end user issues

  • Subject matter expert with technical applications/solutions

  • Ability to lead teams collaboratively

  • Overseeing highly complex issues and applying advance root cause analysis

  • Subject matter expert on applicable IT systems/applications

  • Ability to design highly complex systems and tools

  • Oversees management and strategy of documentation processes

  • Advanced analytical skills

  • Strategize IT solutions

  • Highly experience in effectively providing direction to manage in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment

  • Ability to identify and manage process improvements

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lead business partner and stakeholder discussions to determine business objectives and translate these into: (1) detailed requirements/ “stories” for software developers, and/or (2) new or adjusted IT operational processes.

  • Lead solution development through extensive knowledge of ServiceNow technologies, operational process development experience while demonstrating creativity, innovation, and ingenuity.

  • Formulate integration solutions with external applications such as HR-Oracle HCM, Data Analytics-Zebra Data Warehouse, Security-Crowdstrike, Identity-Saviynt, and infrastructure components (AD, SCCM, Absolute, Axonius) while leveraging experience with data structures, workflow designer, 3rd party connectors/spokes, and custom API development.

  • Champion significant projects and/or initiatives

  • Lead IT software developers through technical decisions that simultaneously accomplish business outcomes, meet Information Security requirements, and compatible with time/resource constraints.

  • Identify project or initiative milestones and phases to align with timeframes and budget.

  • Perform effective organizational change management practices and conduct user acceptance testing.

  • Conduct complex work, unsupervised and with extensive latitude for independent judgment.

  • Manage software development team delivery to optimize business value by aligning development activity with organizational priorities. Inspire developers to overcome technical challenges to complex problems.

  • Work collaboratively across multiple functional areas.

  • Possess high aptitude in both written and verbal communication. Must be able to translate technical topics into effective end user and executive level communications.

  • Minimum 7 years experience in IT operations and/or delivery.

  • Minimum 7 years of combined experience with ServiceNow administration, development, and/or Product Ownership.
