The Role: Product Owner/ Business Analyst, Sustainable Mobility

The Team: We are a team of Research Analysts, Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts building a next generation Forecasting platform for Automotive.

Our Sustainable Mobility services help Suppliers and OEMs understand supply chain physical risk, evaluate the full supply chain emissions & carbon pricing, and finally looking at the trajectory to net-zero plans across the industry.

Our vehicle level energy consumption & GHG emissions products, and subsequent fleet level regulatory compliance forecasts support a range of decision making from competitive benchmarking of future energy consumption and EV ranges, to sourcing opportunity targeting, through to cost of compliance with regional emissions regulation.

The Impact : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in vehicle performance and fuel efficiency platforms. The ideal candidate will have a blend of skills in product management, business analysis, and quality assurance. This role is pivotal in driving the enhancement of Automotive vehicle performance indicators, managing physical risk and financial exposures for vehicle plants, and ensuring accurate reporting of carbon emissions throughout a vehicle's lifecycle.

Responsibilities :

What we are looking for: As a Product Owner / Business Analyst, you will:

Product Ownership:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for vehicle performance and fuel efficiency platforms.

  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

  • Work closely with the development team to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate product features and functionality.

Business Analysis:

  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and industry regulations to identify opportunities for product improvement.

  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Perform data analysis to measure product performance, identify issues, and propose solutions.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and drive efficiency.

Quality Assurance:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes, standards, and metrics for vehicle performance and fuel efficiency platforms.

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.

  • Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and ensure product quality meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Work with the development team to implement automated testing frameworks and continuous integration practices.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Engage with product management, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliverables.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to ensure transparency and mitigate roadblocks.

  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and demos to gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and drive consensus.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience (X years) as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Quality Assurance Analyst in the automotive industry.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle performance metrics, fuel efficiency technologies, and environmental regulations.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and influence discussions with industry stakeholders and clients.
