AWS Professional Services (ProServe) is looking for Customer Practice Managers (CPM) who can lead activities with with different Customers from Telco and Media. Our CPMs are responsible for helping customers develop a long-term AWS strategy. Together with customer teams and AWS partners, working closely with the Telco Team.

The CPM role is to act as a trusted advisor and AWS ambassador to senior stakeholders and enterprise teams within our largest customers to understand and help realize their critical business outcomes with AWS.

Key job responsibilities

  • Helping shape Telco and Media customers’ long-term strategy and innovative solutions.

  • Bias for Action to Deliver Results in ProServe and Platform bookings in the near term.

  • Establishing Executive relationships across Technology & Business groups, becoming a strategic advisor and expert with deep knowledge of the cross-section of the customers’ business and available technology solutions.

  • Preparing and presenting technical and commercial proposals to different C-Levels.

  • Working with the AWS internal network, including specialist experts across AWS product and specialist resources as well as Account team, Partner team, Finance, and Legal.

  • Delivering on annual bookings and revenue targets with deal structure aligned with key customer goals and AWS Professional Services business objectives

  • Supporting scale through shared learning and mechanisms across the Professional Services sales team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experience, or Bachelor's degree

    • 3+ years working in the Industrial Telco and Media sector as a consultant or part of a Professional Services organization
    • Business development experience including multiyear, multiple service offering proposals resulting in contracts with >$5M total contract value.
    • Experience with CRM systems and maintaining a clear and dependable view of pursuits, progress, and pipeline conversion
    • Experience assessing customer C-Level willingness to initiate conversations that lead to broader strategic transformation programs.

Preferred Qualifications

- - Vertical industry sales and delivery experience of cloud services and solutions.

- - Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.

- - Evidence of growth in and achievement of professional services sales and delivery goals and targets.

- - Senior level executive engagement, relationship management and advisory experience
