Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk for a contract to hire position in Miami, Florida. This role is critical in our finance department, and will focus on managing and processing accounts payable, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintain and update vendor files and contract records

• Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies

• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment issues

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure of accounts payable records

• Work closely with the finance team to improve and streamline the accounts payable process

• Use accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports

• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Experience with general ledger functions and month/year-end close process

• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software

• Proficiency in English and in MS Office

• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
