Citigroup Financial Planning & Analysis Lead Analyst in Miami, Florida

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead Analyst for its Miami, FL location.

Duties: Develop data driven analysis, coordinate medium and long-term forecasting processes, play a critical role in identifying key strategic areas for business development and oversee process improvements. Drive performance assessment and informed decision making through the management of main financial drivers including Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss (“P&L”) items. Compile and analyze critical performance data for Citi in LATAM including market share, client penetration, and macroeconomic trends. Partner with LATAM senior management including regional and country groups as well as global teams to coordinate and manage the financial analytics and reporting processes for LATAM. Track the performance of Citi’s businesses on a country-by-country basis and identify early warning signs for product strategy issues, expense allocation risks, or macroeconomic problems. Coordinate forecasting exercises including financial review of businesses and provide a mechanism to monitor performance against targets to support long-term and near-term decision making with regional, country, and global teams. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation in the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Managing and tracking business financials and developing long-term strategic plans to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and controls while increasing business profitability; Coordinating headcount and expense forecasting for senior management highlighting possible areas of opportunity and actionable items; Booking, consolidating, reporting, and accessing business performance data related to country and regional profit & loss and business drivers using financial reporting and data management systems; Leading financial data transformation from multiple platforms into standard reporting using Knime and Tableau to ensure best available sources of information are used for financial tracking of business performance; Generating analytics for business performance including variance analysis for annual plan, quarterly and monthly Outlooks as well as Actuals including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and narratives to C Suite executives; and Coordinating the Book of Work (BOW) of multi-location teams including the indirect management of activities with resources in difference sites and time zones.
