Our client is a global healthcare company providing diagnostic and drug development capabilities to make a difference through clinical, non-clinical, and commercial settings! We are seeking a Histologist to join their growing team on 3 rd shift!

Location: Miami, FL

Schedule: 3 rd shift M-F 10pm-6:30am

Pay: $32.51/hr

Responsibilities:

• Embeds cuts stains and performs other tasks required to process tissue in the Immunohistochemistry laboratory.

• Performs accurate gross description on tissue samples.

• Perform quality control procedures established for each method and maintains accurate records.

• Operates all instruments/ equipment according to accepted written procedures and recognizes and identifies instrument/ equipment problems.

• Meets acceptable turnaround time and productivity standards for the section.

• Complete routine and STAT testing within acceptable turn-around time guidelines

Qualifications

• Associates Degree

• Florida state histology license REQUIRED.

• Skilled in microtomy grossing processing embedding cutting and routine special staining techniques.
