ManpowerGroup Maintenance Technician in Miami, Florida

The Role:

As an Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production lines. You'll leverage your expertise in both mechanics and electrical/electronic systems to perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Troubleshooting, setup, installation, and preventative/corrective maintenance of production lines and equipment (fillers, cappers, labelers, coders, conveyors, etc.)

  • Maintaining and repairing machinery and electro-mechanical equipment, adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean work area.

  • Performing preventative maintenance inspections and reporting findings to maintain optimal equipment performance.

  • Collaborating with production teams to facilitate equipment changeovers based on daily requirements.

  • Installing and setting up new equipment to ensure proper operation.

  • Maintaining and repairing warehouse and facility equipment, including fixtures, tools, and building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical).

  • Upholding a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Technical associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Maintenance Technician in a production environment.

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, PLC, control systems, automation, and pneumatic systems.

  • Proactive approach to maintenance, identifying potential issues and taking preventative measures.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of metal fabrication/mechanical parts assembly and ability to sharpen tooling.

  • Familiarity with welding and cutting practices.

  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with production and maintenance teams.

  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay: $25-$35 an hour depending on experience- OT available!
