ChenMed Manager, Field Finance FP&A in Miami, Florida

The Finance Manager will analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company’s leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the company’s objectives.

In alignment with our Finance vision, this position will support the transformation of care for the neediest populations by systematically developing business focused finance talent who generate and use information to drive great decisions, optimize performance and ensure accountability through transparency, actionable insights and education.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Providesfinancial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.

  • Adviseson investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.

  • Maintainsthe financial health of the organization.

  • Analyzescosts, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.

  • Developstrends and projections for the firm’s finances.

  • Conductsreviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

  • Overseesoperations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.

  • Managesthe preparation of the company’s budgetand strategic plan.

  • Liasewith auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.

  • Correspondswith various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

  • Manages and directs the efforts of his/her teamand is responsible for hiring, training, coaching, disciplining, managing performance, developing and engaging personnel, in order to maintain a skilled and productive workforce to meet or exceedChenMed’sbusiness goals.   • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.

  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.

  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database software

  • Experience with Workday and Adaptive Systems a plus

  • Proficientin the useof finance software

  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to10% of the time

  • Spoken and written fluency in English

  • This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • Bachelor’sdegree;experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis above the minimum experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and/or MBA preferred

  • Minimum offive(5) years of related experience

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager

  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as Financial Analyst

  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
