The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Cardiovascular Division has an exciting full-time opportunity for a Research Assistant / Data Entry Specialist to work on the UHealth campus.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Enter research data accurately and timely into designated databases or software systems.
Ensure data integrity and consistency through careful validation and verification processes.
Maintain organized records of all data entry activities and ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
Assist in participant recruitment efforts, including contacting and scheduling participants as per study protocols.
Prepare research materials and assist in data collection during research sessions.
Perform literature reviews and assist in the preparation of research reports and manuscripts.
Coordinate logistics for research meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
Assist in procurement of research supplies and equipment as needed.
Support grant reporting requirements by compiling necessary data and documentation.
Collaborate effectively with team members, including researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to the project team in a clear and timely manner.
Maintain professional and respectful communication with study participants and external collaborators

CORE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
