Responsible for harvesting mushrooms out of growing beds, carefully selecting products, cutting with a knife, ensuring optimal picking rates, container weights, mushroom quality, and presentation.

This position is responsible for all of the following:
Product selection based on size and quality
Manually cutting the mushroom stem with a knife, ensuring cuts are straight as specified by Product Specifications
Work on your own initiative and unsupervised for short periods within the working day
Harvest in an assigned area various types of Mushrooms
Maintain the assigned area to be free of obstacles, mushrooms and mushrooms stumps
Harvesting mushrooms by pulling them upwards from their base while performing a twisting and manually cutting the mushroom stem with a knife
Have good awareness of food quality and safety
Performs other related duties as requested
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on the safe handling and proper use of machines and tools used for the operations
Adherence to Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) for food processing
Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for food processing
Accurate completion of daily logs and reports according to the SOP
