Buyer
We are looking for a Buyer to join our Nuclear Division in Middleburg Heights, OH! As a Buyer with us, you will play an integral role in managing our Business Unit's inventory needs. As the Buyer, you will perform a variety of routine buying/purchasing tasks involving materials, supplies, or services. You will be responsible for reviewing purchase requisitions, placing orders with approved suppliers, and monitoring orders to completion.

Your Challenge:
Reviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers. Follows up on open orders to completion. Assist with reports and expedites.
Review and maintain proper safety stock levels.
Coordinates with the accounting department as required resolving questions on suppliers' invoices.
Supplier management by ensusring reliable and consistent quality from suppliers while managing relationships and negotiating favorable terms.
Inventory control by balancing inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock.
Cost management by keeping procurement costs within budget while sourcing high-quality connectors, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
Managing and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions.
What You Bring:
3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or supply chain.
Bachelor’s Degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain), preferred.
Knowledge of material management functions which includes procurement planning and processes.
Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
MS Office experience required.
Experience in Oracle or other ERP/MRP system preferred.
Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.
Proficient in negotiations.
Attention to detail.
