ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Confers with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
Reviews the work of others and confirms that it is ready for final testing/inspection.
Explains test procedures or techniques to other workers.
Assembles test fixtures and performs preliminary test of completed shipping assemblies in accordance with standard procedures and/or special non-standard instructions.
Conducts routine mechanical and configuration inspection of final assemblies at testing in accordance with work instructions and as specified by drawings; Checks Quality Assurance records pertinent to the work.
Maintains log and records of all tests done.
Assists with the maintenance of test equipment and ensures equipment being used is in calibration.
Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work areas.
Works with Supervisor to schedule testing to keep projects on time.
Maintains standard of performance for testing in accordance with budgeted project hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
HS diploma or GED required.
Some technical schooling preferred.
3-4 years of experience required.
