Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Crew Leader to join our team. In this role, you will lead a crew in the installation of landscape designs for both residential and commercial properties. Working closely with the Landscape Manager and Landscape Designers, you will ensure all projects are completed to our high company standards. This role is integral to our team, optimizing efficiency, productivity, sales, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and assist crew in daily assignments and routines
- Delegate tasks to maintain productivity and profitability
- Support ongoing learning and development of team members
- Operate a variety of landscaping equipment
- Ensure proper hydration of lawns, trees, and plants
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Plan and cultivate lawns, turf, or gardens
- Deliver and spread topsoil and/or straw over newly seeded areas
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides as needed
- Install new landscaping materials and specialty features
- Comply with and enforce all safety rules and regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
