Robert Half Accounting Manager in Millston, Wisconsin

Description

We are in search of an Accounting Manager to join our team in Tomah, Wisconsin. The selected candidate will be entrusted with the responsibility of managing the accounting department and improving its operations through effective and efficient operations. This role also involves supervising the work of staff accountants, collaborating with other company personnel, and utilizing ERP software to implement appropriate procedures and controls. Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounting department and improve its operations through effective and efficient processes

• Supervise the work of staff accountants and assist in their professional development

• Collaborate with other company personnel whose responsibilities directly align with accounting department functions

• Oversee cash management, inventory control, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and order processing

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports

• Utilize ERP software and implement appropriate procedures and controls to ensure accuracy, enhance efficiency, and ensure proper internal controls

• Direct annual physical inventory and periodic cycle counts

• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

• Use Accounting Software Systems and ADP - Financial Services to fulfill job functions

• Handle accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and billing functions effectively.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Manager or Supervisor

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC) is beneficial

• Ability to handle all Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing

• Experience in managing Billing Functions

• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required
