MKS Instruments Inc Key Account Manager in Milpitas, California

A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a key account manager at MKS instruments, you will represent MKS at key customers, partnering with engineering, product management and operations to define, develop, support and execute sales strategies. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director of Global accounts.You Will Make an Impact By:• Maintaining relationships with a small number of named accounts which are of significant importance to the company• Calling on accounts, providing product information and/or presenting demonstrations of how the product/service will meet the clients’ needs• Acquiring, expanding and retaining named accounts and ensuring that ongoing customer service is provided• Facilitating the technical discussions leading to sales growth• Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of travel is required.Skills You Bring:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required• Technical background in vacuum technology, semiconductor manufacturing or similar experience• 8+ years of related experience required

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:• Operates in a professional office environment• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand• Must be able to exchange accurate information• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

  • Total Compensation: Salary Range: ($139,200.00 - 258,600.00) & Incentive Payment: (Up to 40% of salary). This range is a good faith estimate of the expected total compensation for this position (base salary plus variable sales compensation), based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.

  • Incentive Payment: A percentage of your total compensation is tied to participation in a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) and is earned by your achievement of pre-established targets, pursuant to the terms of the SIP.
