Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $23 - $29 per hour, based on experience (BOE)

Shift: 2nd shift (must be able to train on 1st shift)

What’s a typical day as a Painter? You’ll be:

• Performing painting and final assembly according to work instructions and company procedures

• Mixing paint to specified consistency and viscosity for spraying

• Adjusting equipment to obtain the best finish requirements

• Using blueprints, work instructions, and schematics to perform assembly operations

• Using paint guns, measuring devices, and respirator to perform tasks

• Using basic measuring tools, hand torque wrenches, power, pneumatic, and hydraulic tools as necessary

• Assisting Finishers in preparing products for shipment

• Ensuring each check point and traceability of the component is collected and tracked properly

• Filling out necessary paperwork and tracking time assigned to each job for costing purposes

• Maintaining communication with the quality department to ensure work passes inspection and is ready for shipment

• Following the plan and schedule defined by the supervisor and production department

• Following instructions to keep and follow 6S methodology

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area

• Learning tasks associated with different generator models, if needed

• Ensuring tasks are performed according to quality management and environmental, health and safety standards

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have industrial painting experience

• Have experience with water-based paints (preferred)

• Are willing to cross-train in the Finishing department

• Have the ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

• Possess strong attention to detail and quality standards
